Oscar is an Aerospace Engineering Master's Graduate at the University of Manchester, currently specialising in the design of advanced satellite systems and aerodynamic research. His academic work includes projects such as Very Low Earth Orbit satellites, and conducting experimental research into shuttlecock aerodynamics using wind tunnel testing and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
With over six years of tutoring experience, Oscar has refined his tutoring from sixth form mentoring to working as a professional tutor for Crimson Education (and MyTutor), acting also as a project mentoring leader. Throughout his career, he has supported hundreds of students in navigating the complexities of GCSE and A-Level Mathematics and Physics, aiding them in achieving and succeeding their academic dreams, helping to build their future.
His approach to tuition is centred around the student. Each student perceives information entirely differently. Oscar focuses on motivating students to think critically and develop into independent learners. By utilising hand written lesson plans tailored to each student, he ensures that the path to academic success is both effective and engaging. Most importantly, enjoyment comes first. Once a student learns to enjoy, learning to know becomes the easy part.
